Redrow Homes South Midlands, currently building at Bowden Chase, on Berry Close, officially presented the Kettering and District Stroke Group with a £475 donation.
The donation was part of Redrow’s community fund initiative, a £10,000 fund created to support various community projects led by local groups, organisations and individuals.
The Kettering and District Stroke Group, part of the stroke association, provides useful information and signpost local services, while offering support to those affected, as well as a range of events and trips. The donation will go towards a members’ trip to the Imperial War Museum in Duxford.
Sandra Parker, chairman at Kettering and District Stroke Group, said: “We are really grateful for Redrow’s donation, which will also help us to fund our members’ visit to the Imperial War Museum.
“Activities, events and trips are essential to encourage social interaction and increase confidence for people who have been affected by a stroke. On behalf of everyone at Kettering and District Stroke Group, I would like to say a big thank you to the Redrow team for their support.”
Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes South Midlands, said: “Here at Redrow Homes, we are committed to creating thriving communities, so we’re really excited to support local initiatives and groups.
