Amanda Punter, sales consultant at Redrow South Midlands’ Bowden Chase, on Berry Close, hosted a special afternoon tea and flower arranging session at the Falcon Hotel to raise funds for Cancer Research.
On the day, Amanda’s efforts raised £1,473. The Cancer Research team was also presented with an additional £300 donation from Redrow, raising the grand total to £1,773.
Amanda commented: “Cancer Research has a special significance to me after my best friend, grandmother and colleague lost their battles with cancer, so it was an honour to host my own fundraising event. I’d like to thank Redrow for their support; it was a wonderful day and I am thrilled with the amount we raised.”
Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes South Midlands, said: “We are honoured to show our support to such an exceptional charity and are delighted with the amount that was raised on the day.
“The work Amanda has done behind the scenes to organise such a successful event has been nothing short of phenomenal. Well done, Amanda!”
