Leek United has made a number of new appointments to strengthen their intermediary team to better support brokers as demand for their mortgage products continues to grow.
George Simpson joins the intermediary team as a telephone-based BDM responsible for ensuring that the brokers and their clients’ interests are at the heart of the team’s activities, providing technical assistance and helping to answer queries to enable brokers to provide a great service. George will also help to support the Society’s relationship with mortgage clubs and networks.
George has an excellent understanding of the Societies’ lending policy and has come from a background of supporting direct mortgage customers, so he will be a fantastic addition to the expanding team.
For face to face contact with brokers, two new BDMs have joined the team to work with existing intermediary clients and build new relationships. Deb Bree covers the South and Dan Berrisford works in the North regions. They’ll be attending broker training days and working closely with mortgage clubs to show how Leek United’s products can help develop their mortgage business.
There have been new appointments at head office too. Laura Allcock has joined as Intermediary Mortgages Team Manager and Lizzie Galley as Marketing Campaign Manager. These new members of the team will help to ensure that intermediaries have all the information they need about new products and criteria updates.
The whole team has a tremendous amount of experience to offer brokers and help them open up new opportunities. The team will continue to provide a high level of service and will be proactive in dealing with brokers and their new cases.
Lisa Buckley, Head of Sales and Marketing at Leek United, said: “The new appointments demonstrate our commitment to this vitally important distribution channel and we are in a great position to build broker relationships and continue to provide a high level of service. The new-look team will be working closely with brokers to develop new business. The team has a high level of expertise to support brokers via the Head Office team and with BDMs out on the road.”
